Landscape images of Orkney and Northern Scotland

17th century Keiss Castle stands precariously on the Caithness coast a few miles north of Wick. This was the scene one autumnal morning in October at about 7am. The high cirrus clouds were spectacularly lit from underneath by the rising sun.
