Landscape images of Orkney and Northern Scotland

Witnessing a dramatic coastal scene like this is recompense for all the futile trips i've made over the years in poor light. You can never predict rainbows of course and I got lucky but perseverance does pay off in the end. This harbour at Latheronwheel is one of many quaint historic fishing ports along the Caithness coast.
